Okay, to be honest, this series is getting pretty weak (if it wasn't already). It starts with references to the Cowboys and Aliens movie. Anyway, it needs to be posted here to complete the series to date. Enjoy!

Yep, you know I like to listen to both sides. This is one of those pieces that mocks the ancient alien theory, which is a rarity. So I thought I'd post it. It isn't the greatest documentary, but it is good enough for anyone interested in skeptics.

Claudius was duped into making Nero his successor, as you will see in 'I Claudius' (Movie Links page). Claudius was a rose between two thorns, and as much as a admire him, his work was made all the more appealing by the Emperor both before and after him.
Although Claudius seems to have known what Agrippina was doing when she married him (she was his neice after all with a lust for power), he was not one to stand up for himself too often. Unfortunately, many people after him paid dearly for this.

If you watched the series titled 'I Claudius' on the movie links page, you will enjoy this program. Caligula was the demented emperor who Claudius succeeded. A true sociopath, he may not have been crazy. Just incredibly narcissistic and without conscience.

I love the story of Cleopatra - cunning vixen who used what she had (sexuality) to get her way. She ruined the great dynasties of Ancient Egypt and brought her people to their knees before Rome. All in her narrow goal of being the one ruler of Egypt... and leading herself to suicide. She was so human and flawed, and took her role personally. I don't know why, but she draws me in.
I found this amazing documentary that puts her in perspective: she murdered her own siblings. This documentary is beautifully made and incredibly captivating. Enjoy!

I found this quick little documentary really interesting. I've never thought about the Queen of Sheba, but it would be fascinating to find that she was a real person. I love Middle Eastern archeology in general, so seeing the dig site was fun too.

I realized, as I looked through my posts, that every single one of them is based on the theory that aliens visit (or have visited) us. So I thought I'd write about my own views.
First of all, I do not know if I believe anything in particular about aliens. The theory that aliens were our first gods is plausible, but I don't believe it 100%. I think it could very well be true. That's how I feel about all of these theories.
At the heart, though, is my belief that aliens do exist and they have been to Earth. That's all I believe in 100%. Everything else is up in the air to me. I just think that there is alot of video evidence of strange flying objects in the sky, and that is where this belief stems from. I suppose it could be possible that thousands of people are trying to fool us, but I personally believe that at least some of the evidence is real. After that, I try to research the individual claims and decide from there. Of course, I haven't actually decided on anything, because it takes actual scientific evidence for me to believe, usually. There isn't much of that in the areas I like to learn about!

I took this picture in Shag Harbour, a tiny coastal community in Nova Scotia. This is where a downed UFO is reported to have been found.
I watched this program a few years ago because it features my home province, so I thought I'd share it here. Who knows what really happened - I think people get excited about the subject and their imaginations run away from them. But interesting nonetheless.

If you watched the first season and liked it, you will probably want to see this season as well (obviously)!
