Meet Maximus and Khai!
The loves of my life - even though there are days when they are destroying my house and making me cringe.
The First To Come Home - June 2010
Maximus was born on Valentine's Day, 2010. I don't know anything about his parentage, but I did find him in a local pet store, still living in a cage at 4 months old. Although many do not agree with pet store buys, Max sure was happy to finally have a home to call his own. He walked right out of the crate and felt comfortable from his first moment with me.
His greatest vice is tearing my brand new furniture with his claws... I shudder now just thinking about it. His greatest qualities are his friendly, easy-going nature and the kindness and acceptance he has shown to Khai.
He is always happy to greet strangers at the door - a real sweetheart!

Momma's Boy Joins The Household - August 2010
I wanted to find a playmate for Max as soon as possible, and I NEEDED to have another Siamese in my life! I grew up with an incredible cat, and couldn't wait any longer to have such a blessing enter my life again.
Khai was posted with his littermates on a local second-hand site. I fell in love before I ever met him. Upon walking into the breeder's house and seeing all the little furbabies, I knew I'd be going home with one spoken for me. Being a pampered boy, with lots of kitty love since birth, he was very scared and homesick when he first came home. He stayed in his crate for hours, and finally ventured out long enough to hide under the bed for another many hours. But once he saw Max, he was in love! It took Max a few months to adjust to his new buddy, but now they love each other dearly. Note evidence below. Khai was born on June 3rd, 2010. He came home on August 29th, 2010 - Michael Jackson's birthday.

Khai is a sook. He loves to lay over my shoulder and have me pat his bum! He is a timid guy who hides from visitors, but once he warms up, he'll take over your lap or bring his toys to you to let you know he wants to play. This boy plays fetch marvelously! He is an almost constant companion, needing very little "alone time." He divides his lovey-dovey time between Max and myself.
Life With The Boys...
These boys pretty much own my house - they just let me live here. And they let me feed them, treat them, clean up their messes... I guess they have it made! I'd say about 75% of the mess I clean is theirs. They are not low maintenance, and Khai has energy galore. He also gets Max going, running through the house like two little horses. Khai always has to find some trouble... which is actually pretty endearing. The whole house has been filled and organized with the cats in mind. I even had to put a plant in a decorative birdcage just to keep it alive, since Khai liked the taste of it so well! At the end of the day, no matter what I've had to deal with, they really are worth it. They are my babies... I am a lucky girl ;)
